Fame and money can’t buy you happiness or health

Steve Jobs dies a billionaire, with a fortune of $7 billion, at the age of 56 from pancreatic cancer, and here are some of his last words... 👇👇👇

“At this moment, lying on the bed, sick and remembering all my life, I realize that all my recognition and wealth that I have is meaningless in the face of imminent death. You can hire someone to drive a car for you, make money for you – but you can not rent someone to carry the disease for you.

As we get older we are smarter, and we slowly realize that the watch is worth $30 or $300 – both of which show the same time. Whether we drive a car worth $150,000, or a car worth $2000 – the road and distance are the same, we reach the same destination. If we drink a bottle worth $300 or wine worth $10 were drunk

Five Undeniable Facts 💥

1️⃣ Do not educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. – So when they grow up they will know the
value of things, not the price.

2️⃣ Eat your food as medicine, otherwise, you will need to eat your medicine as food.

3️⃣ Whoever loves you will never leave you, even if he has 100 reasons to give up. He will always find one reason to hold on.

4️⃣ There is a big difference between being human and human being.

5️⃣ If you want to go fast – go alone! But if you want to go far – go together.

Amaih Hmaa Ruangah Damnak Nan Ngah Zo (1 Peter 2:24)

What is Good about Good Friday? What is good about the death of Jesus Christ?
We have life insurance in America. If someone died, you get the benefits.
The death of Jesus gives us the biggest benefits for us.

If Jesus did not die on the cross and finish the work he was assigned to do, the results are:
1. You have no forgiveness.
2. You have no hope.
3. You have no courage to face the future.
4. You have no power to face Satan.

When Jesus died, he said, “It is finished.” In Greek, the word “finished” is “tete÷lestai/Tetelestai/” meaning “completed,” “fully paid,” “carried out.”

What did he finish? What are the benefits of his death?

1.     HE PAID MY PENALTY AND CANCELLED MY DEBT.
a.     There is the law of God that we all trespassed.
                                      i.     Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death.
ii.     God is fair and just. Whoever sins have to pay the penalty.
b.     GOD CONDEMNED SIN IN CHRIST so that we could escape condemnation.
                                      i.     Rom. 8:3 - 4 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do: by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and to deal with sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,  4 so that the just requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
c.     HE WAS MADE SIN FOR ME (2 COR. 5:21)
                                      i.     2Cor. 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
                                    ii.     Jesus paid the penalty.
d.     EREASE OUR SINS.
                                      i.     Col. 2:13 - 14 And when you were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive together with him, when he forgave us all our trespasses, erasing the record that stood against us with its legal demands. He set this aside, nailing it to the cross.

2.     HE DEFEATED THE FEAR OF DEATH
a.     Everything is temporary. You will surely die. If you don’t know where you will go after you die, you will fear death. But for believers, we are not afraid of death. Why?
b.     1Cor. 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.  57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
                                      i.     The sting of death = sin
ii.     The power of sin is the law because the law reveals our sins. Whoever sins will die.
iii.     But Jesus erased the records of our sins by dying on the cross.
iv.     Thus, death can surround us but cannot harm our soul. We will go to a better place.
c.     Rom. 5:17 If, because of the one man’s trespass, death exercised dominion through that one, much more surely will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness exercise dominion in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
d.     John 14:1   “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.  2 In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

3.     HE BROKE SATAN’S POWER TO MESS UP YOUR LIFE.
a.     Life is a struggle/battle/war.
                                      i.     There is cosmic war between good and evil (God and Satan).
ii.     Satan hates everything God creates including you.
b.      Col. 1:13 He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
c.     Satan attacks us in two ways in your thoughts:
                                      i.     Temptation: to lure you off the path that will hurt your life and your family.
ii.     Condemnation: you are nothing/worthless/failure/no future.
d.     You have a new power to say NO by the power of the Holy Spirit in you.
                                      i.     1Cor. 10:13 No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.
ii.     You don’t have to say YES to Satan’s temptation. You have the power to say “No.”
e.     Because of the cross, you can reject condemnation.
                                      i.     You can stop the negative ideas that flow to your mind constantly.
ii.     The account of your sins has been paid in full and erased.
1.     Col. 2:14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. Col. 2:15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
2.     15Cule thlarau uktu pawlih huham le cahnak tla cu thinglamtah ihsin a siatbal ṭheh ih mi hmuahhmuah hmuh dingah ralkaih-mi sal seenpi hmaiih an hruai ṭheu bangin a hruai hai a si.
3.     You can say to Satan, “God accepts me as I am. I am the son of God. I will not eat the pig food but I will go back to my father. Satan go to Hell.”

4.     HE GUARENTEED YOUR SALVATION.
a.     Phil. 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
b.     You are not saved by your work or goodness. If so, the moment you cannot be good, you lose it. But salvation does not depend on your good work but the work done by Jesus Christ.
c.     Therefore, he said, “It is finished.”
                                      i.     Eph. 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
d.     You don’t need to add to what Jesus has done for you. What you need to do is to accept it by Faith.
                                      i.     Religion: do
ii.     Relationship with God: done for you. Finished for you.
e.     John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

Summary:

Why Good Friday is good for me?
1.     My paid my penalty and cancel it.
2.     He defeated the fear of death.
3.     He broke Satan’s power to mess my life.
4.     He guarantees my salvation.
