God has great plans for us!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Then you will call upon me and come and
pray to me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me
when you seek me with all your heart.
(Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Heart of Gratitude

by Unknown

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way."
I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."
Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have.. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.
When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.
The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…
And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!
If after reading this story you really felt touched and you liked the story, I suggest you share it.

Otherwise, I believe you know what to do.

Remember, this story could change someone’s life.
The choice is yours. What would you do?

Enjoy your day with a heart of gratitude.

A Response to Dr. Zakir Naik's, a Muslim Scholar, Questions & Statements

A response to Dr Zakir Naik: Click

Dr Zakir Naikr said, “Jesus nor Muhammad made a mistake but the church made a mistake. Although Jesus never claims that he is the messiah/God, the Christians worship him as God/Allah.”

Answer: no one makes a mistake but Muslims just ignore Jesus’ statements of his identity as God, the messiah of the world.

Dr Zakir Naik said, “Jesus never claims that he is God. Where did Jesus say that he is God, the messiah?”

Answer: Yes, Jesus surely stated that he is God. Look at the following statements of Jesus.

1. Jesus and God are One

John 10:10, “I and the Father are one”

John 12:45, “He who sees me sees the one who sent me.”

2. Jesus accepts Peter’s confession of the Son of God

Matt. 16:15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

Matt. 16:16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Matt. 16:17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven.

Matt. 16:18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

Matt. 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

3. Jesus confesses that He is the Messiah/son of God

If his father is God, his son is no other but God.

Mark 14:61 But he was silent and did not answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”

Mark 14:62 Jesus said, “I am; and

‘you will see the Son of Man

seated at the right hand of the Power,’

and ‘coming with the clouds of heaven.’”

4. Jesus affirms his divine sonship

Luke 22:67 They said, “If you are the Messiah, tell us.” He replied, “If I tell you, you will not believe;

Luke 22:68 and if I question you, you will not answer.

Luke 22:69 But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”

Luke 22:70 All of them asked, “Are you, then, the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say that I am.”

Luke 22:71 Then they said, “What further testimony do we need? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips!”

5. Jesus’ understanding of his messianic mission: suffering first and glory the second

Luke 24:26 Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer these things and then enter into his glory?”

Luke 24:27 Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things about himself in all the scriptures.

Dr Zakir Naik said, “John 16:7 ….. Jesus predicted the coming of Mohammad. The Holy Spirit was already there when Jesus was on the earth. Thus, the term advocate is not for the coming of the Holy Spirit but for Mohammad.”

Answer: It is right that the Holy Spirit was with Jesus all the time. In addition we can see the works of the H/Sp even in the O.T.

1. creation: (Gen 1:1-2; Psalms 104:30b; Job 33:4; Psalms 104:1-30)

2. Samson, (Jugdes 13:25; 14:6,19; 15:14), and Saul (I Sam 10:6-10; 16:14). The presence of the Holy Spirit in the O.T is not forever but just for sometimes.

3. Joseph (Gen 41:38), Joshua (Num 27:18), Ezekiel (Eze 2:2), Daniel (Dan 4:8; 5:11-14)

However, in the New Testament time, the presence/indwelling of the Holy Spirit with believers is forever.

1. The indwelling of the H/Sp begins at the Pentecost day (Acts 1:8, 2:1-4). This is what Jesus has predicted, not Mohammed.

2. The H/Sp indwell in the body of believers (1 Cor 6:19, 20)

Dr Zakir Naik said, “The name of Mohammad is in the Bible, Song of Solomon 5:16”

Answer: Song 5:16 in Hebrew:

Song 5:16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

Mamtaqqim = sweet

Machamaddim = desirable thing

I don’t see the word for Mohammad or Muhammad in Song of Solomon 5:16 in the Hebrew words. That Muslim scholar just told a lie to the layperson who knows nothing about the Hebrew language.
